The Little Women

And now I’m safe, once again Sleeping soundly on my husband’s arm. Just like I did those years back then. Wrapped gently, beautifully under my friends gentle arms. Oh the beautiful souls, God bless you all. Thankyou for making my adulthood as beautiful as it sound. Friendship is one thing that I’ve never  take for granted, you know. As it ground me well to the very basic of human needs,  Safety. The comfort that my friends gave me is truly second to none. “It's like penguins. When one is sick, or very injured, the other penguins surround it and prop it up. They walk around it until that penguin  can walk on its own.” Matthew Perry said about the other “Friends” cast. And I couldn’t agree more. Goodness you know who you are. Please know that I’m forever grateful for you. You guys truly are my lifeline on this lifetime. I’m very blessed. I see his curious eyes Finding out his whereabouts. His curious ears, tracking sound down to its source. One pure soul trying to make sense of the world around. Finding novelty instead of cruelty. Then mama got curious too. She tries seeing what he sees, Hearing what he hears, Then she, too, finally knew. That we should focus on us and what we can do, Instead of them & what they can do. To be truly true, This small human is the one that makes me strong. He somehow infuse the strength in me Everytime those eyes shine & the lips laugh. Eyes that keeps following his mother wherever she goes. Like I’m the best thing that ever happened to him. Having a baby truly is magical, I’d say. They showered you with so much love  that you got no choice but showering  them w ith so much love too. They humbled you & molded you into a better person. A version of you  that is  most humane. I was so enchanted with him, he literally blew my mind away! Oh and please note that I never met him before our placement (we doctors have to do an intern on some government’s workplaces before we can join the workforce) There was this little voice telling me that he’s the one the moment I laid my eyes on him.
