The song had been on my head these past few days-weeks, even. And finally, today I karaoked it on youtube and like every single one of us; I was enchanted too when I heard it!

Such sweet, beautiful lyrics coupled with amazing music makes this super easy listening song easily stuck in the corner of your heart and I’m so, so grateful for her for creating this one (along with her other songs)


It remind me so much of the moment when I met my husband. I was so enchanted with him, he literally blew my mind away! Oh and please note that I never met him before our placement (we doctors have to do an intern on some government’s workplaces before we can join the workforce)


There was this little voice telling me that he’s the one the moment I laid my eyes on him. Sounds unbelievable but it’s true, I assure you! I guess that’s just how life works 🙌🏻


We introduce ourselves; asking questions to know how well fitted are we for marriage and fast forward 6 months later, we are married! So no dating period for us, it was straight from intro to being engaged then getting married.


And marriage is downright the best decision that I’ve ever made in my life! (A marriage with him, of course; not anyone else). Hubby successfully makes me feel secure, full of joy & so loved. I’m very grateful for him.


Oh and anyway, this post is for my husband on celebrating his 28th birthday. Happy birthday, my dear love! May you live well, eat well, happy, healthy & being as wonderful as ever. We love you ocean lots! 🤍🤍

The House

The house is the perfect copy of our old house. That’s why it’s very precious to me. Its front, the layout, the stairs, the room arrangements, down to the balcony. The place where both of my grandparents were still healthy. I’ve been missing him since yesterday, you know. And it didn’t dissipate until today, it gets worse. I hope he’s okay there. By this time I know that once someone is gone, you really never see them anymore. Not even in your dream. And I started to lose any ideas of how to see him, when his old photos begin to blur just as much as the memory. We miss you, Angku. We miss you so much and we don’t know how to deal with it.  I hope life after life treats you good. The only thing that we can give to you now is our prayer and our never ending love.  Please, can you just visit me in my dream from time to time? Heart Will Tell

We were once 25 and 25. Young, wild, but never free. We were attracted so much with each other and being sure so well that we’re engaged on our first month of meeting one another;  married exactly six months later. And the rest is history. We travel, we eat, we laugh, we love. It was a straight out of an eat, pray, love movie-kind of relationship. But we also fight. We fight & flight, we learn hard to swallow our pride, we listen to each other’s bicker and snide, but we always  got our spouses back and side. Because they are our one, true love after all.  Marriage is a long shot on the long run but  it will be a joyful long-ness if you’re  in it with the right person. And the heart will tell.
